ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs all public area cleaning and upkeep according to established standards.
  2. Push, pull and turn a 50-70 pound linen cart, when loaded.
  3. Removes dirty linen from bed, towels and trash from rooms.
  4. Moves furniture in room as necessary.
  5. Load linen cart, which requires bending and reaching 6 feet high and lifting roughly 7 pounds per linen bundle.
  6. Walks extensively to and from employee entrance, Housekeeping Department, and assigned station.
  7. Provides superior customer service following the Thoughtful Service Model, positively effects interactions which customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.
  8. Ensures that attendant carts and housekeeping storerooms are supplied with all hard and soft goods in compliance with departmental standards and policies.
  9. Adheres to departmental and company policies and procedures.
  10. Performs housekeeper duties as needed.
  11. Other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill/or ability required. All employees must knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular attendance required and overtime and overtime required.

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. Six months to one year related experience in a casino, and/ or training: equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Basic computer knowledge preferred.

REASONING ABILITY

Planning, remembering details, reading, making decision, discriminating colors, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, examining & observing details.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending/stooping, kneeling, carrying, observing, stretching, lifting 50 pounds, pushing, hearing, balancing, and observing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Inside, odors, hazards, dirty, gloves, chemical cleaning products.
