The Office of Marketing and Communications of the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering works hand-in-glove with the Development, Student Affairs, Undergraduate Admissions, and Graduate Division units to ensure we build a community of engineers that delivers on the universal promise of education.

We are seeking a Digital Communications Manager to oversee the strategic planning, creation, and management of digital content across various platforms including websites, social media, and digital communications channels. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the position will collaborate with internal and external teams to promote college initiatives, manage content calendars, and lead a team of student assistants. Additionally, the role involves analyzing and reporting on college rankings, developing marketing campaigns, and managing contact databases of key external audiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in digital marketing, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment.

This is an on-site position in Riverside, California.

A digital portfolio, writing samples, design samples, or sample campaign will be requested of candidates invited to interview.

The full salary range for the Digital Communications Manager is $71,100 - $128,700 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $71,100 - $85,500 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
